Shuffle up Chicago

I had a great time running the Shamrock Shuffle today. It wasn’t the fastest we’re ever run, but it was a lot of fun. Since we were the 2nd wave of the open start corral it took about 25 minutes to cross the starting line. There were 29,000 runners that showed up to run in the cold. The cold pretty much went away once you were packed in the gate with everyone. According to my running partner Adam it was like wearing a “meat coat”… Gross.

There was a lot of energy amongst the runners. Adam and I finished in 50:58 unofficial. Here is a graph of out run. I also took some pictures which aren’t very good since I was running. And if you look at the post before this there is some before, during and after the race video.
