I just got done running the Fleet Feet Sports Turkey Trot 8k. It was a good run, a little slower than I wanted, but thats ok I guess.

Coach Jen said to take it easy for the first 2 miles then bust my ass the rest of the run… Those were the actual directions she wrote in Training Peaks. It made me laugh.

Right now I’m gonna get cleaned up and head out for a thanksgiving feast! But before I do I want to remind you about the Inaugural Black Friday 5k Fun Run! I had the great oppertunity to parter with some fantastic ChicagoNow bloggers as well as the awesome people at Fleet Feet Sports to put on this FREE 5k fun run to benefit The Chicago Food Depository, Give your sole and St. Vincent DePaul.
