If you haven’t heard, I’ve been doing a lot of training (I’m actually writing this while on my bike.) the big downside of this amount of training is I do it alone. But when I see a race that looks interesting my first question is who can I run with? I usually ask my wife if she’s interested and for the most part she is. The difficult part is finding a race that will allow us to bring our son in a baby jogger.
A lot of the big races (Shamrock shuffle, Hot Chocolate, any half marathon) don’t allow people to run with a jogger for safety reasons. While I don’t 100% agree with this, I do understand wherethey’re coming from. I can definitely see some dumbass trying to PR arace while pushing a stroller.
I reached out to both Fleet Feet Sports and RAM Racing as well as searching CARA Chicago to find out what races DO allow runners to push joggers.
Both RAM and Fleet Feet graciously emailed me back with a list of races that are jogger friendly and if you search CARA’s website there is a purple icon next to jogger friendly races as well.

Below is a list of some of the great jogger friendly races I’ve run and plan to run this year!
