A few weeks ago I got an email from CamelBak asking if I wanted to try out they’re new CamelBak Groove water bottle. I love CamelBak! I’ve written about them before while I was researching ways to keep hydrated on long runs. I even ran the marathon with a Fairfax on my back, so needless to say when they asked me to try a new product I got a little excited.
What makes the Groove different than the 1,000 water bottles you have laying around your house is the fact that it has a built in filtration system! Say What!?!
Yep, I said it the Groove straw has has a built in filter. The CamelBak Groove is certified to reduce Chlorine, Taste and Odor. Chlorine is the leading cause of foul smelling and tasting water. When changed as directed, the Fresh Filter reduces more than 90% of Chlorine, far surpassing the NSF reduction requirement. Easy to refill and easy to use bottle with a filter built into the straw. Turn tap water into fresh, great-tasting water anywhere you go.
Another cool thing about the Grove is that the lid/filter fits some of my CamelBak water bottles (BONUS!).
So, you’re wondering how you can score on of the 10 Groove water bottles I have to give away? Leave a comment below or on twitter @PhilCastello and answer one of these questions
1) How many disposable plastic bottles you would save per month by using a CamelBak Groove?
2) Where is somewhere you would fill up your Groove with tap water?
Look, I know I’m not the first ChicagoNow blogger to give away the CamelBak Groove, but I’m probably the best looking! HA!
Good Luck Everybody!
