The excitement is getting to me. The Chicago Marathon is just days away and I can’t wait! Im constantly seeing other runners on Facebook and Twitter getting hyped up too!
Tonight will be my last run before the big dance. I’m going to head to Niketown on Michigan Ave for the Marathon Champions Rally and then a short run with the Nike+ run club.
I slept like crap last night. Sammy was up and down all night. I think I’ll be able to maintain though.
I have a lot to do at work today, but if I can get it all done the maybe I can get the OK to cut out a little early tomorrow (hmmm… I wonder if my boss reads my blog… Steph, if get the show done, can I cut out early tomorrow?)
Saturday Adam and I are going to pick up Beefy and go to the Expo. I’m pretty pumped about that too! This whole weekend is going to be exciting!
Dave Wallach of Pace of Chicago had a great quote on my Facebook page today and it totally fits how I feel about Sunday…

Who is Beefy? Please tell me that’s your dog, because that’s what I want to name my dog: Beef Supreme and call him Beefy. That would be too awesome if you already call your dog that.
And if it’s a nickname for your kid or wife or something…sorry! HA!
HAHA! Nah Beefy is a friend of mine who’s going to be running CM10 for the 3rd time. However I do think it would be a great name for a dog… Not so much a good nickname for my wife… or anyone’s wife, at least not to their face! HAHA!
